# Customers (Ability Hub)

## Customer portal (Patient App)

Being cared for is an experience that encompasses emotional support, physical assistance, and a sense of security. It involves receiving attention and affection that cater to one's needs, fostering an atmosphere of warmth and reassurance. This nurturing presence can significantly impact one's mental and emotional well-being, promoting feelings of belonging and acceptance.&#x20;

Whether through a loved one's gentle words or the attentive actions of caregivers, being cared for creates a comforting sense of connection and understanding.

### 🤝 Building Your "Circle of Care"

Caregiving is a team effort, and Ability Hub is designed to bring everyone together. To invite a new family member, friend, or professional caregiver to your team:

1. Navigate to your Circle of Care (found via the profile or menu icons).
2. Look for the "+" (plus person) icon in the top right corner.
3. Enter their details to send an invitation.
4. Once they accept, they will appear in Your Contacts, and you can begin sharing updates, scheduling, and health notes immediately.

> Tip: You can see who hasn't joined yet under the Pending Invites section to give them a friendly nudge!

### 📱 Mastering Your Home Timeline

The Home tab is your central "Circle Feed"—a private, secure space to stay in the loop without the noise of traditional social media.

#### Sharing Updates

* Post a Note: Tap the "What's on your mind?" box to share a quick greeting, a "Namaste," or a daily status update.
* Add Photos: Use the Gallery or Camera buttons when creating a post to share visual progress, medication labels, or just a happy moment from the day.

#### Engaging with Your Circle

* Filter Your View: Use the "Viewing Posts From" dropdown to focus on specific people or see updates from everyone at once.
* Like & Comment: Caregiving can feel isolating; a simple "Like" or a supportive comment on a post lets your team know you’re present and informed.

### 🛠️ At-a-Glance Navigation

* 🏥 Health: Log vitals and wellness updates.
* ✅ Requests: Ask for help with errands or specific tasks.
* 📅 Calendar: Sync appointments and visits.
* 📂 Documents: Access insurance cards and medical records instantly.

Use the bottom navigation bar to jump between the core pillars of care:

### Communicate, Coordinate, and Care

#### 🏥 Health: Tracking the "Pulse" of Care

The Health tab turns observations into actionable data. It’s designed to bridge the gap between "I think they’re doing better" and "Here is the data that proves it."

<figure><img src="/files/Aj2cLGVlcGulDRFOuZjl" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Vitals & Wellness Logging: Track daily metrics like sleep quality, mood, and physical activity. If you're managing specific conditions, use this to log blood pressure, weight, or glucose levels.
* Symptom & Behavior Journal: When challenges like "cognitive issues" or "motor issues" (noted during your setup) arise, log the specific time and severity. This creates a chronological history you can show a doctor during a 15-minute appointment.
* Medication Management: Keep an active list of prescriptions, dosages, and schedules. This ensures every member of the Circle—from a sibling to a professional aide—knows exactly what needs to be taken and when.
*

```
* Stress Check-ins: Caregiving is a marathon. Use the health tab to log your own stress levels. The app can offer "instant encouragement" or resources when it detects you're hitting a wall.
#### 📂 Documents: Your Secure Digital Vault
Nothing is more stressful than hunting for an insurance card during an emergency. The Documents tab acts as your team’s "Single Source of Truth."
<figure><img src="/files/ZGeWGJILxqM9gXOM0PQ8" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
* The "Emergency Ready" Folder: Upload high-resolution photos of insurance cards (front and back), government IDs, and allergy lists. These are accessible to anyone in the Circle of Care instantly.
* Legal & Advance Directives: Store sensitive but critical files like Power of Attorney (POA), DNR orders, or living wills. Having these digitized means you’re never without them at the hospital.
* Medical Reports & Summaries: Upload discharge papers, lab results, or imaging reports. Instead of carrying a physical binder to every specialist, you can simply pull up the PDF on your phone.
* Professional Sync (FieldWorker): If you are working with a professional agency, documents shared by their staff—like care plans or formal assessments—will appear here automatically, keeping the family and professionals on the same page.
#### **Other Key Features**
* **Wellness Journal for Patients**: Encourage patients to maintain a wellness journal, aiding in tracking their personal health journey. This journal acts as a reflective tool for patients, offering insights into their progress and daily well-being.
<figure><img src="/files/j8BrJAS5H5a10QVOtv6a" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
* **Access your health records:** Health information about you may be stored in many places, such as doctors’ offices, hospitals, drug stores, and health insurance companies. You can review, access, and share this information with your circle of care.
<figure><img src="/files/Kj5i3DmZACRcKfuDBWrk" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
* **Calendar for Activities and Appointments**: Utilize the integrated calendar to effectively track and organize upcoming activities, medical appointments, and social events, ensuring seamless planning and reduced scheduling conflicts.
By leveraging these essential features, the caregiver management platform aims to provide accessible tools and resources to improve both the caregiver's and patient’s experiences, fostering an environment of informed, coordinated care.
Make a note of how you are feeling.
#### Quick Tips for Success:
1. Tag Your Files: When uploading to the Documents tab, use clear names like *"2026\_Insurance\_Card"* or *"March\_Physical\_Therapy\_Report"* to make the search tool more effective.
2. Log in Real-Time: Try to log health updates *as they happen*. It’s much more accurate than trying to remember details at the end of a long day.
