📂 What Are Documents?

The Documents feature allows you to securely view, upload, and share important files related to your care. This keeps everything in one place so you and your care team always have access to the information you need.

📄 What You Can Find in Documents

Depending on your setup, you may see:

  • Care plans or service plans

  • Assessment reports

  • Consent forms

  • Medical or support documents

  • Uploaded files from your care team

📲 How to Access Documents

  1. Open the app

  2. Tap “Documents” (or “Files”) in the menu

Documents Tab

A file repository for patient-related documents. You can toggle between list and grid view modes. Each file entry shows:

  • File type icon (PDF, image)

  • File name and format

  • Shared status (globe icon)

  • Upload date and time

A + button in the header allows uploading new documents from the device or camera.

👀 Viewing a Document

  • Tap on a document to open it

  • Scroll to read or review

  • Download or share (if enabled)

⬆️ Uploading a Document

If your access allows, you can upload files:

  1. Go to “Documents”

  2. Tap “Upload” or “+ Add Document”.

  3. Select a file from your device or take a photo

  4. Add a title or description (optional)

  5. Tap “Submit” or “Upload”

👉 Example uploads:

  • Insurance cards

  • Medical reports

  • Signed forms

🔔 Notifications

You may receive alerts when:

  • A new document has been added

  • A document requires your review

  • A signature or action is needed

👥 Who Can See Your Documents?

Documents are shared only with:

  • Your care team

  • Authorized caregivers or family members

  • Documents are stored securely

  • Only authorized users can access them

  • Sensitive information is protected according to healthcare standards

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Some documents may be view-only

  • Certain files may require action (e.g., review or signature)

  • Upload only relevant and appropriate documents

  • Contact your care team if you cannot find a document you need
