This provides a holistic view of the living environment, shared resources, and joint care networks, streamlining logistics for agencies servicing multiple individuals at the same residence. ### 1. Interface Overview Accessible directly from the global left sidebar, the Households module serves as a central hub for family-level data management. #### Header & Navigation * Search & Filter: The top toolbar features a dynamic dropdown to search for specific households (e.g., *Grayson Family*) and a Status filter to toggle between Active and Inactive groupings. * Primary Actions: EDIT HOUSEHOLD and NEW HOUSEHOLD buttons are persistently located in the top right corner. * Workspace Tabs: The core interface is divided into dedicated tabs for deep dives into specific areas: Overview, Members, Projects, Tasks, Files, and Notes. ### 2. The Overview Dashboard (Active View) The Overview tab acts as the primary dashboard for the selected household, providing a 360-degree view of the family's setup and recent engagements.

#### Household Details (Left Panel) This section houses the fundamental identity and location data for the unit: * Status & Description: Indicates if the household is active and provides custom descriptive notes. * Location Management: Displays the primary address (e.g., *12 Roszel Road*) and includes a one-click COPY ADDRESS function, crucial for quick dispatch or navigation tasks. * Audit Trail: Shows the Date Added, Last Visited date, and the staff member who created the record. * Summary Badges: Provide a quick numerical tally of the total individuals attached to the household, broken down by total Members, active Clients, and external Contacts. #### Key Roster (Center Panel) Two prominent data tables instantly display the most critical individuals associated with the address: * Key Household Members: Lists internal family members and clients living at the residence. It identifies their specific Role (e.g., Primary Contact, Alternate Contact), Name, and direct Contact Info (phone and email). Any customer with a common address is already part of a household. People not living at the same address can also be added to a household. * Key Household Contacts: Lists external supporters, guardians, or stakeholders tied to the family unit, similarly displaying their roles and contact details. #### Activity & Tracking (Right Panel) This sidebar ensures staff is up-to-date on ongoing case management: * Upcoming Tasks: Highlights any pending to-dos specifically tied to the household entity rather than an individual client. * Recent Activity: A chronological timeline logging system updates, displaying exactly which staff member (e.g., *Rami Bazoqa*, *Sami Smithh*) took action and when (e.g., "updated a household note 9 days ago"). ### 3. Core Workflows: Step-by-Step #### Establishing a New Household 1. Click the NEW HOUSEHOLD button in the top right of the module. 2. Enter the primary location data and descriptive elements. 3. Once created, use the respective tabs to begin linking existing Clients and Contacts to the new entity.

You can pick one or more members by selecting them from the list of all active customers.

From the CONTACTS tab, you can associate any of the active contacts to the household.

#### Managing the Household Ecosystem To ensure field workers have the full context before visiting a residence, the household must be accurately populated. 1. Navigate to the MEMBERS tab to add or remove specific [Clients](https://dev.fieldworker.ai/customers) residing at the location.

2. Navigate to the PROJECTS tab to link overarching care programs that apply to the household unit.

3. Centralize shared documents (like lease agreements or joint legal guardianship forms) in the FILES tab to avoid duplicating uploads across multiple individual client profiles.

The tasks tab shows all the activities/tasks related to this household in one place.

The notes tab shows all the notes related to this household in one place. These notes may be associated with a member, or may have been added to the household itself.

### 4. System Cross-Referencing The Households module acts as a connective layer across the FieldWorker platform: * Clients & Contacts Synchronization: Data displayed in the Key Members and Contacts tables is pulled dynamically from the global [Clients](https://dev.fieldworker.ai/customers) and [Contacts](https://dev.fieldworker.ai/contacts) databases. Updating an email address in the Household overview will automatically reflect in that individual's primary profile. * Scheduling Logistics: By connecting multiple clients to a single Household, scheduling algorithms and field workers can recognize that consecutive appointments are at the exact same physical location, optimizing travel time and EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) check-ins.
