Contacts

It takes a village

The Contacts tab on the Project pagearrow-up-right serves as a directory for external stakeholders, family members, or emergency contacts associated with the Dexter Morgan Project. This tab ensures that field staff and administrators have immediate access to the support network surrounding a customer.

Adding a Contact to a Project

To link an existing contact to the project, use the controls at the top of the tab:

  • Select Contact: A searchable dropdown to choose a contact from your global Contactsarrow-up-right list.

  • Relationship: A dropdown to define how this person is related to the project or customer (e.g., Family, Guardian, or Case Manager).

  • ADD CONTACTarrow-up-right Button: Clicking this button formally attaches the individual to the project view.

Contact Cards and Details

Once added, each contact is displayed in a dedicated card format, providing key information at a glance:

Feature

Description

Name & Category

Displays the contact’s name (e.g., Dwight Schrute) and their relationship category (Family).

Contact Info

Includes a click-to-dial phone number (e.g., 551.221.2342).

Address

Shows the physical location of the contact (e.g., Scranton, PA), which can be useful for coordinating family meetings or home visits.

Notes

A brief text snippet (e.g., "test 123") providing extra context about the contact's role or preferences.

Management Actions

Administrators can manage the contact list using the icons located on each card:

  • Delete (ο‡Έ): Clicking the trash icon removes the contact from this specific project. This does not delete the contact from the global Contactsarrow-up-right database, only their association with this project.

  • Communication Icons: Icons for phone (ο‚•) and location () allow for quick interaction or navigation to the contact's address.

Operational Context

  • Field Access: When staff are viewing Tasksarrow-up-right on their mobile devices, they can quickly access these contacts if they need to reach a family member during a visit.

  • Care Coordination: Centralizing family and sponsor details within the project tab prevents staff from having to search through the main Clientsarrow-up-right database for basic contact info.

  • Emergency Readiness: Keeping emergency contacts (like James Harmony) clearly labeled ensures that the "Circle of Care" is always visible to the assigned Employeesarrow-up-right.
