Files

All documents for a plan

The Files tab on the Project pagearrow-up-right acts as a secure, centralized repository for all documentation and evidence related to a specific client engagement. In the context of the Dexter Morgan Project, this tab ensures that all "Artifacts" required for compliance and auditing are easily accessible.

File Organization and Display

The interface is designed for high visibility and quick retrieval of project documents:

  • View Toggles: Users can switch between a Grid View (showing large thumbnail previews) and a List View (for a more compact, text-based table).

  • Search & Filter: A dedicated Search Bar allows you to find files by name, while the Filter and Sort By buttons help organize documents by date, type, or uploader.

  • File Cards: Each document (e.g., Report-Sat Mar 21 2026arrow-up-right) is displayed with:

    • Thumbnail Preview: A visual snapshot of the document content.

    • Metadata: Displays the Artifact Type (e.g., pdf) and the name of the staff member who uploaded it (e.g., Sami Smithh).

    • Timestamp: The specific date and time the file was added.

File Actions

Each file entry includes a set of quick-action icons for management:

  • Info (): View expanded details about the file and its history.

  • Download (ο€™): Save the Documentarrow-up-right to your local device for offline use or external sharing.

  • Delete (ο‡Έ): Remove the file from the project repository (typically restricted to Admins).

• Share (ο”ˆ): Internal sharing options to point other team members toward specific documentation.

Uploading New Content

To add new documentation to the project:

Integration with Field Operations

The Files tab isn't just for manual uploads; it captures real-world data from the field:

  • EVV Artifacts: Photos or digital signatures captured by employees during Tasksarrow-up-right are automatically synced here.

  • Billing Support: Documents stored here serve as the primary evidence needed to resolve Billingarrow-up-right disputes or insurance denials.

  • Compliance: Centralizing files here ensures that when an auditor asks for proof of service, everything is linked directly to the Customerarrow-up-right and the specific Projectarrow-up-right.
