Software settings and configuration refers to the adjustable options within a software program that allows users to customize its behavior, appearance, and functionality to suit their specific needs, often accessed through a "settings" menu, where users can modify parameters like language, display preferences, security levels, and more, essentially tailoring the software to their desired operation.
The Fieldworker platform allows several ways to configure the software and hence manage, control, and appearances of the software for various users.
To configure the Fieldworker platform, access the Settings page, by clicking the cogwheel icon from the top-right corner. The exact options available to configure the functionality depend on the role of the employee.
At the highest level, the application exposes settings in the following categories.
The general section in the Settings page is exposed to all users. Depending on the role, some sections may be limited to non-admin users.
