Billing Reports
All about your Revenue Cycle
The Billing Reports section in Fieldworker provides a suite of financial auditing tools to track claims, monitor revenue collection, and ensure service authorizations are not exceeded.
1. Global Controls & Filtering
Before generating any report, use the top-level filters to narrow your data:
Date Range Picker: Select the specific window (e.g., 03/01/2026 β 03/31/2026) for the claims you wish to audit.
Select Client: Use this dropdown to filter all billing data for a single individual.
Mark All as "Favorite": Clicking this button adds every report in this section to your sidebar for quick access.

2. Available Billing Reports
Each report offers two viewing modes: PDF (for a clean, printable document) or VIEW REPORT (for an interactive, searchable data grid).

3. Top-Right Action Icons
When using the VIEW REPORT mode for any of the above, you have access to the standard grid tools in the top right:
CSV / PDF: Direct buttons to export the current data view into your preferred format.
![columns_icon] Columns: Hide unnecessary fields (like internal IDs) to focus on "Amount Paid" or "Date of Service."
![filters_icon] Filters: Isolate specific data, such as "Show only claims with a status of Rejected."
![density_icon] Density: Toggle between "Compact" and "Comfortable" views to fit more data on your screen.
Administrative Best Practices
The Weekly Utilization Check: Run the Prior Auth Utilization Report every Friday to identify any clients approaching their unit limit for the month.
Denial Management: Use the Claim Collection Report to spot "Rejected" claims early. Cross-reference these with your Billing Credentials to ensure your connection to the clearinghouse is active.
Audit Trail: Always export the Billing Transaction Report at the end of every month as a PDF to maintain a permanent, unchangeable record of your agency's financial activity.
