BI Dashboards Overview
The BI Dashboards section within the Reports tab provides high-level, visual business intelligence to help agency leadership monitor organizational health at a glance. Powered by integrated data analytics, these dashboards transform raw operational data into actionable insights through interactive charts, graphs, and summary cards.
Dashboard Categories (Tabs)
The BI Dashboard is divided into several specialized views to cover all aspects of agency management:
Demographics: Analysis of your customer base, including age, gender, race, and population trends.
HR: Metrics related to staffing, retention, and employee distribution.
Financial: High-level revenue tracking and financial health indicators.
Customer: Detailed insights into customer acquisition and status.
Employee: Performance metrics and caseload distribution.
Company: Overall agency performance and compliance summaries.
Units: Tracking of service units provided and utilized.
EVV: Monitoring Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance and success rates.
Key Visual Elements (Example: Demographics)
When viewing a dashboard like Demographics, the information is organized into three main layers:
1. Summary Cards
Located at the top, these provide immediate "big picture" numbers, such as:
Total & Active Customers: Current headcount of the individuals you serve.
Growth Metrics: "New Customers this month" vs. "Customers leaving this month" to track net growth or churn.
2. Visual Analytics (Charts)
Interactive charts allow for quick demographic breakdowns:
Pie Charts: Used for categorical data like Customer Age, Gender, Tier, and Ethnicity.
Trend Lines: The Customer Population graph tracks changes in your customer count over a 12-month rolling period.
3. Tabular Data
Below the visual charts, the Active Customer Tabular Data section provides a raw, sortable list of the records powering the charts. This includes specific fields like Customer ID, Address, Phone, and Acquisition Date, allowing you to bridge the gap between high-level trends and individual client records.
Features & Interactivity
Real-Time Data: The dashboards sync with your live operational data to ensure you are viewing the most current information.
Comparison Tracking: Many metrics include a "vs. previous month" indicator to help identify emerging trends or areas requiring attention.
Iframe Integration: The dashboards are hosted within an integrated viewer, allowing you to access complex Metabase analytics without leaving the FieldWorker platform.
