Report Overview

The Tasks Report, located within the Administration Reportsarrow-up-right tab, provides a granular view of individual staff activities, visit durations, and associated billing rates. It is the primary tool for auditing staff productivity and verifying service delivery. The Tasks Reportarrow-up-right aggregates all logged activities within a selected date range. This includes in-person visits, phone calls, and specialized services, pulling data directly from employee timesheets and EVVarrow-up-right records.

Column Definitions

The report grid displays the following data points for every logged task:

Column Name

Description

ID

A sequential index for the current report view (starts at 0).

Task ID

The unique, permanent database identifier for that specific activity.

Task Date

The calendar date the service was performed.

Employee ID

The internal identification number for the staff member.

Employee Last/First Name

The legal name of the staff member who performed the task.

Customer ID

The internal identification number for the client.

Customer Last/First Name

The legal name of the client receiving the service.

Task Type

The category of service (e.g., Physical Therapy, CBS Visit, Visit, Phone Call).

Task Duration (Hrs)

The total time spent, expressed in decimals (e.g., 1.00 is 1 hour; 0.10 is 6 minutes).

Rate

The dollar value assigned to that specific task for billing or payroll.

Grid Control Icons (Top Right)

Use the interactive tools at the top of the Administration Reportsarrow-up-right grid to manage your data view:

  • Columns (Grid Icon): Toggle visibility to hide IDs and focus strictly on names, types, and durations.

  • Filters (Funnel Icon): Search within specific columns (e.g., filter "Task Type" to show only "Phone Call").

  • Density (Lines Icon): Adjust row spacing to "Compact" to fit more data on one screen.

  • Export (Arrow Icon): Use the [EXPORT CSV] button to download the filtered list for payroll processing or external auditing.

  • Save View (Disk Icon): Save your current column arrangement so it persists the next time you log in.

Administrative Best Practices

  • Payroll Verification: Filter by a specific Employee ID and date range to calculate total billable hours and compare against reported payroll.

  • Service Mix Audit: Monitor the Task Type column to ensure the ratio of in-person "Visits" to "Phone Calls" remains within state compliance limits.

  • Duration Checks: Look for tasks with 0.00 duration (as seen in some "Phone Call" entries) to ensure staff are correctly logging their time for all billable interactions.
