πŸ›οΈCompliance

Ready to keep your agency up-to-date and prepared for any audits that come your way at all times?

HIPPA compliance

Fieldworker, itself, is not a covered entity, but a business associate for our clients. We use various best practices to safeguard and protect customer data. The fieldworker team is constantly trained on the ethical and legal requirements for HIPPA.

Fieldworker is a secure application where only authorized personnel have access to any information. The application is hosted on Azure and access to the app is secured using the Azure Active Directory. All data and documents are stored in Azure’s HIPPA-compliant and secure databases and cloud storage. Generally speaking, Microsoft services used by us are audited to support HIPPA and the HITECH requirements.

On a practical level, when you start using the app, you will notice

1. All access to the app is encrypted by using the secure HTTPS protocol.

2. The sign-up and sign-in process is guaranteed by the industry-standard Active Directory and has multiple factors for user verification.

3. All data on the back end is only accessible by the company’s authorized employees

What data can I store on Fieldworker?

In short – everything you need to! We’ve designed spaces for client, contact, project, and task information, in addition to EVV and timesheet records, spaces for viewing and uploading task and client-specific documentation, and more. Want to know how to add your data and records? Check out this page for info on importing your records and setting up your agency!

Does the Fieldworker MT meet all my state requirements?

Yes! The Monitoring Tool you fill out in FieldWorker extensively covers all of the information required by New Jersey’s DDD. This includes recent updates at the beginning of 2023, which required more information to be provided within each report. The Fieldworker helps ensure your data and records are complete, accurate, and efficient to give you confidence in a smooth and simple MT process.

How does Fieldworker ensure EVV compliance?

When your team checks in and out of tasks, we automatically capture all of the information required under state EVV regulations, for example, the time of the start and end of the visit, the client and their details, and the location. And because it’s all captured automatically with the tap of a button, your team won’t need to spend lots of their time ensuring all the necessary details are recorded!
